WHICH CHURCH  IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Welcome to the fellowship of Jesus "the Son of Man"

If you are a new Christian.... Welcome!... We greet you with a holy kiss and we too welcome you to the fellowship of Jesus.

If you are not a Christian... Welcome!... We greet you with a holy kiss and we too welcome you to the fellowship of Jesus.

The only qualification for membership into the fellowship of Jesus "the Son of Man" is being human. Jesus, the Son of Man, or "the human", freely accepted into his fellowship people from all walks of life, regardless of race, colour or creed.

Jesus extended his fellowship (friendship) to all his fellow humans. That includes you.

So feel welcome, whether Christian, new Christian, or non-Christian, because you truly are welcome!

Please feel free to browse through our site. We hope that several of the contents in our site (like Christians on line, Bible references, The FCA Desk, Hot Topics, Great Christian_links, Prayer, etc) will be of benefit to you as you start your new exciting life of true freedom in Christ.

Jesus' Mission Statement
The spirit of the Lord is upon me to preach good news to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, and to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18)

Some challenging words from Jesus

"But if you are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Pray for the happiness of those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you" (Luke 6:27,28)

"You know that in this world kings are tyrants, and officials lord it over the people beneath them. But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must become your slave. For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many." (MATT 12: 25-28)

You are the light of the world—like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father (MATT 5: 14-16)

Some encouraging words from St. Paul

"the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith" Gal 5:22

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God." Eph 3:17-19

"But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another..." 1Th 4:9

Some "love advice" from 1 JOHN

"For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another" 1Jo 3:11

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth" 1Jo 3:18

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God" 1Jo 4:7

"No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us" 1Jo 4:12

"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him" 1Jo 4:16

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love" 1Jo 4:18

Some encouraging words from early Christians

"God's will is done on earth as in heaven when... we do not disparage one another, and when not only are we without jealousy but we are united one to another in simplicity and in mutual love, peace and joy, and regard our brother's progress as our own and his failure as our loss." ( St. Makarios of Egypt, The Homilies, II: Prayer, The Philokalia Vol. 3 edited by Palmer, Sherrard and Ware; Faber and Faber pg. 295)

"If you totally fulfill the command to love your neighbour, you will feel no bitterness or resentment against him whatever he does" (St. Maximos the Confessor Second Century on Love no. 15, The Philokalia Vol. 2 edited by Palmer, Sherrard and Ware; Faber and Faber pg. 85)

"God has granted the ability to do good to anyone who wishes to do it, wherever he may be." (St. Symeon the New Theologian, The Discourses: XXII sect. 9; Paulist Press pg. 250)
