Come To The Wedding Feast Of Lamb

WEDDING ATTIRE WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE AND ACCEPT THE LOVE SACRIFICE OF THE LAMB OF GOD.

Who is the Lamb of God?

Genesis 22, v2: Abraham was told, ‘Take your son Isaac, whom you love so much, and go to the land of Moriah. There on a mountain that I will show you, offer him as a sacrifice to me.v11, but the angels of the Lord called to him from heaven “Abraham, Abraham!” He answered, Yes, here I am”.v12, don’t hurt the boy or do anything to him, he said. “Now I know that you fear God, because you have not kept back your only son from him.”v13, Abraham looked around and saw a ram caught in a bush by its horns. He went and got it and offered it as a burnt-offering instead of his son.v14, Abraham named that place, “The Lord Provides”.

Isaiah says: 7, v13: “Listen now, descendent of King David. It’s bad enough to wear out the patience of men – must you wear out God’s patience too? v14 well then, the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, a young woman shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name ‘Immanuel.’

Micah says: 5,v 2: The Lord says, Bethlehem Ephrathah you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient times.

King David says: Psalm 27, v1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid.

God Did Provide

John: 1, v26 John answered, “I baptise with water, but among you stands the one you do not know.v27, He is coming after me but I am not good enough to untie his sandals.” v28 All this happened in Bethany on the east side of the River Jordon, where John was baptising.v29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, “There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

Matthew: 3, v13 at that time Jesus arrived from Galilee and came to John at the Jordon to be baptised by him. v14, But John tried to make him change his mind, “I ought to be baptised by you, ”John said, and you have come to me!” v15 But Jesus answered him, “let it be so for now. For in this way we shall do all that God requires.” So John agreed.

The Sacrifice

Jesus was crucified, Pilot wrote on a sign above his cross, ‘King of the Jews’, he endured their mockery and much pain and died. He was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea and arose from death on the third day. But Jesus said to his disciples before he died, in John 14, v1-3,”Do not be worried or upset,” ”Believe in God and believe also in me. v2, There are many rooms in my Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so. v3, and after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am.

He comes for His Bride, are you ready, to receive him, to go to the ‘Wedding Feast of the Lamb’?

 

How do we know this: The Wedding Feast of the Lamb. Revelation 19, v6 Then I heard what sounded like a large crowd, like the sound of a roaring waterfall, like loud peals of thunder. I heard them say, “Praise God! For the Lord, our Almighty God is King!

v7 Let us rejoice and be glad; let us praise his greatness! For the time has come for the wedding of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself for it.” v8 “She has been given clean shining linen to wear.” (the Linen is the good deeds of God’s people.)

v9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Happy are those who have been invited to the Wedding-feast of the Lamb”

You Are Invited: If you believe, that Jesus Christ is the son of God, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Then you have been adopted into the family of God. And you are invited! Is the Groom welcome in your house?

When you hear this: “There will be a shout of command, the archangel’s voice, the sound of God’s Trumpet, and the Lord himself will come down from heaven. (He comes to collect his bride). Those who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first; v17 then we who are living at that time will be gathered up along with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will always be with the Lord. V18 So then, encourage one another with these words.” 1 Thess: 4 v16-18.

How do you get dressed and ready for the big occasion: When you ask God to forgive you, in the name of Jesus, (the Lamb) and you invite God into your life and your heart, you will be cleaned and clothed. Revelation as above, v8 “She has been given clean shining linen to wear.” (the Linen is the good deeds of God’s people.)

Revelation 3,v19, I rebuke and punish all whom I love. Be in earnest, then, and turn from your sins.

v20 ‘Listen, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his house and eat with him, and he will eat with me.’

v21 To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on his throne.

v22 If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches!

Rev 21:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
